On the tenth of February, Hannah and Theo added another chapter to their decade-long love story. Wed on a flawless summer’s day, they tied the knot in Wanaka, a place they held close to their hearts. Hannah was a multi-talented bride: a photographer herself, with impeccable styling skills, she made her own florals and designed a lace piece for her gown.
The day after their wedding, still dressed in their best, took them on an adventure in Mount Aspiring. They tackled the stormy, moody weather and trekked through the hills, across the valley and waded into a waterfall.
Their wedding, from the finer details to the creative shoot, was utterly them. A day that celebrated Hannah and Theo as the perfect pair, undoubtedly made for each other.

A splendid white suit, a beautiful lace dress, and a sunset that couldn’t have been more perfect. There was so much love in the air surrounding Danielle and John’s summer Wellington wedding, celebrated with their closest family and friends. Just like them, the day was gorgeous, authentic and relaxed, but with a good sprinkling of sparkle. It couldn’t have been with a more warm and joyful crowd.
Amongst the dancing, chatter, giggles and pink, we snuck away for the sunset, so Danielle and John could enjoy a few quiet moments together. The backdrop glowed a golden light that is every photographer’s dream: and we were so stoked to have just the right amount of time in it! The happy couple closed down the night with a sparkling exit: such a fun end to an unforgettable day!
Tarapuhi and George were naturals in the water. Tucked amongst the palm trees, the secluded pool was an island oasis which became the setting of our creative shoot. We captured the couple diving, floating, splashing and swimming- spending quality time together and having a laugh along the way. The scene made for some sweet memories and surreal shots of the couple, and we loved that their shoot was an experience that felt ‘normal’, yet special to them. A perfect example doing something you enjoy in your creative shoot, while making it unique to you.
When in Thailand, it’s a given that some time is spent at the beach or by the pool. With the sun shining, there’s no better way to cool down than with the water. Chelsea and Kirk tied the knot with a beach wedding, and at the end of the night they spontaneously jumped straight into the pool! The next day, we did it all again. Embracing the ‘Drown the Gown’ movement, the couple dove right in. Chelsea looked ethereal in her dress, with Kirk right by her side. The results are dreamy, beautiful, inspiring pieces that might push you into the water on your wedding day.
